Crate Tracker Privacy Policy

- Everything you put in Crate Tracker (crate names, descriptions, locations and photos) stays on your phone.
- We have no servers that store your crates, no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking.
- The only outside service involved is purchase processing for the optional Pro upgrade.
Information stored on your device
Crate Tracker stores the crates you create, including names, locations, descriptions and photos, in the app's private storage on your device. This information is never sent to Cascadia Creations or to anyone else. It is deleted if you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
Camera and photos
The app asks for camera access so you can photograph crate contents and scan crate QR labels. Photos you take or choose from your gallery are resized and saved inside the app. QR scanning is done on your device. Images are not uploaded anywhere.
Backups, labels and exports
When you create a backup, print a label, or export your inventory, the app creates a file and opens your device's share or print screen. You choose where that file goes (for example Google Drive, email, or a printer). Those destinations are governed by their own privacy policies. Crate Tracker does not send these files anywhere on its own.
Purchases
The optional Crate Tracker Pro upgrade is sold through Google Play (and the Apple App Store on iOS). Payments are handled entirely by Google or Apple; we never see your payment details. To confirm and restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your device's purchase receipts, and basic device information (such as platform and app version). RevenueCat does not receive your crates or photos. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or usage analytics, and we do not show advertising or share data with advertisers or data brokers.
Children
Crate Tracker is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
